“ We've been to Nonoia in Casale Monferrato several times and can say it's a truly unique place, with a youthful, refined, and easily recognizable style. The first time, we started with an exceptional horse carpaccio, a dish that impressed us with the quality of the meat and its flavor. Next, we were presented with a truly remarkable selection of dry-aged meats: over 40 types available, a true paradise for meat lovers like me. We chose a rib-eye steak, specifically requesting a cut of about 1-1.1 kg since there were only two of us. It's a shame that when we got the bill, we found ourselves paying for a 1.8 kg steak, without the owner having informed us of the error when he brought it for us to inspect before cooking. It would have been more appropriate to communicate this immediately. That said, the meat was cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious side dishes and served impeccably. We spent €220 for appetizers, meat, desserts, a beer, and a plate of ravioli for my one-year-old son, who thoroughly enjoyed it. The second time we returned with friends, we tried the charcuterie board, the smash burgers, and the tagliata: everything was delicious. On both occasions, we couldn't help but mention their fantastic breadsticks and warm bread bites. As for the desserts, there's room for something more appealing. The availability of a high chair and changing table was much appreciated, as was the large outdoor area, also equipped for children (mosquitoes aside, but unfortunately, that's how it is in the Monferrato area). The presence of their German Shepherds, who roam freely without disturbing, was a pleasant experience. The service is fast, the staff is knowledgeable and attentive, and the owner, despite his somewhat exuberant nature, especially with younger guests, knows how to entertain and make the experience memorable. Overall, a place we recommend and will definitely return to: high quality, a unique atmosphere, and meticulous attention to detail. ”
